Natural Light Without the Hassle
Transform Your Home with Residential Window Tint from Pure Finish
We love natural light. It makes a home feel open, airy, and inviting. But there is a downside to all that glorious sunshine pouring into your Northglenn home. It turns your living room into a greenhouse, fades your expensive hardwood floors, and lets your neighbors see exactly what you are watching on TV.
At Pure Finish, we fix these problems without blocking your view. Our residential window tinting services give you control over your environment. We apply high-quality film that rejects heat, blocks UV rays, and adds a layer of privacy that blinds just can't match. It’s the home improvement you didn't know you needed until you realized your AC unit was crying for help.

Why Your Home Needs Window Tint
You might think window tint is just for cars or skyscrapers. You would be wrong. Tinting your home windows offers some serious perks that go beyond just looking cool.
The Sun is Tough on Your Belongings
UV rays from sunlight are relentless, bleaching your carpets, fading your artwork, and causing cracks in leather furniture. Over time, they can deteriorate your interiors and cost you money in repairs or replacements.
Window Tint is Sunscreen for Your Home
Just like sunscreen protects your skin from UV damage, window film protects your home. It blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, preserving your furniture, flooring, and décor. With window tint, you can enjoy natural light without worrying about long-term damage.
Stay Cool in the Summer Heat
During summer, untreated windows allow heat to pour into your home, making it uncomfortable and forcing your air conditioner to work harder. Window tint helps reject solar energy, keeping your home cooler and reducing the strain on your AC. This means a more comfortable living space and lower energy bills.
Say Goodbye to Glare
Ever tried to watch TV or work on your computer with sunlight creating a glare? It’s frustrating and makes you squint during your favorite shows or big games. Window tint cuts down on glare, giving you a crystal-clear view of your screens without the hassle.
Our Home Window Tint Options
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Your home is unique, and so are your needs. Here is what we offer to get your glass looking right.
Solar Film
This is the heavy lifter. If your main goal is to stop heat and protect your interior from fading, this is the one. It rejects a massive amount of solar energy and cuts down glare significantly. It comes in various shades, so you can go dark for maximum effect or keep it light to maintain a natural look.
Security and Safety Film
Glass is fragile. And dangerous when it breaks. This thick, durable film holds shattered glass together. It helps deter burglars by making the window much harder to penetrate. It also protects your family from flying shards if a stray baseball, or a heavy storm, decides to attack your window.
Decorative Film
Who says tint has to be boring? Decorative films come in frosts, patterns, and textures. They are perfect for adding privacy to bathroom windows, shower doors, or glass cabinet fronts. It looks like expensive etched glass but costs a fraction of the price.
Reflective Film
This gives your windows a mirrored look from the outside. It’s excellent for heat rejection and gives you serious daytime privacy. Your neighbors see their own reflection; you see the beautiful outdoors.
Private (1-Way Viewing) Film
Similar to reflective film, this allows you to see out while preventing others from seeing in during the day. It’s perfect for ground-floor windows facing a busy street. Just remember, the effect reverses at night when your lights are on inside, so you’ll still want curtains.

Where Does Home Window Tint Make Sense?
Honestly, if it has glass, we can tint it. But there are certain spots in a home where window film really shines (pun intended).
The Home Office
You are trying to work, but the glare on your monitor is blinding. Tint fixes that so you can actually see your spreadsheets.
The Living Room
This is usually where the biggest windows are. Tint protects your floors and furniture from sun damage while keeping the room comfortable for movie nights.
Bathrooms
We all want natural light in the bathroom, but we definitely don't want an audience. Frosted or decorative films let light in while keeping prying eyes out.
Entryways
Sidelights by your front door are great for letting in light, but they are also a security risk. Tint adds privacy so people can't see straight into your house.
Frequently Asked Questions about Residential Window Tint
Will window tint kill my houseplants?
Probably not. Most plants actually do better with window tint because it filters out the harsh, direct heat that can scorch leaves. They still get the light they need to grow, just without the sunburn. If you have very delicate tropical plants, ask us, and we can recommend a lighter film.
Does it make my house dark?
It doesn't have to. We have film that is virtually clear but still blocks a ton of heat and UV rays. You can choose how dark you want to go. Most clients find that it just makes the light feel softer and more pleasant, not gloomy.
How long does residential tint last?
A long time. High-quality residential films are designed to last 15 to 20 years or more. Since they are on the inside of the glass and not exposed to road debris like car tint, they hold up incredibly well.
Can I clean my windows normally?
Yes, but give it a few weeks to cure first. After that, just use a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner (like vinegar and water). Avoid using razor blades or abrasive scrubbing pads, or you will scratch the film and be sad.
Does tinting void my window warranty?
Sometimes. Some window manufacturers are picky about aftermarket films. However, many of our film manufacturers offer a warranty that matches or replaces your window warranty so you aren't left unprotected. We can check your specific window brand to be sure.
